Where did the time go? We are at the end of November, the snow is a falling and the festivities for the holiday season are upon us.
As many will be out looking for that special gift for that special someone, I would like to share with you what I feel is the most priceless gift any one person can give another; that is their personal time – creating a timeless moment in another persons life!
That unexpected call for a special afternoon picnic lunch at the lake or park (summer and winter), a surprise concert, a coffee out to break up the day. This is something that forever preserves that memory for that special someone you know. Personally I speak of the elderly as my mom is 85 and my mother in-law is 64. Both of these special ladies in my life have had serious health challenges this past year and now we have learned we are going to lose one of them to ALS.
I can only look back now and remember our moments in times shared and her remembering those moments which now have become timeless moments in both of our lives.
My wish for all of you this holiday season is “free personal time” so you may take those special in your life and give them your greatest gift, YOU!
May your holiday season be full of timeless moments!!!
PS: A special thank you to my mother in-law for her greatest gift to me and that is my wife of 24 years.
